Key Responsibilities:
Analyze risk for individual applicants and employer group coverage, making underwriting decisions Process and underwrite specialty products and manage project work as assigned Serve as a subject matter expert for lower-level underwriters and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred 3 or more years of experience in Group Health Benefits underwriting preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy Familiarity with the health insurance market Life Office Management Association (LOMA) certification preferred
