Lean​/Six Sigma Black Belt - Logistics Excellence

Job Overview

The Dexcom Logistics and Distribution (L&D) organization is seeking a dynamic Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt to lead its Logistics Excellence team. This leadership role focuses on transforming and standardizing logistics processes to achieve world‑class performance and cost efficiency.

• Lead logistics initiatives to build the roadmap, standards, and cadence for Logistics Excellence.
• Design, implement, and share improved end‑to‑end logistics processes across receiving, inventory, pick/pack/ship, transportation, and trade compliance.
• Apply structured problem‑solving tools (DMAIC, 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping, visual management, Kanban, mistake proofing, Fishbone, 5 Whys, SIPOC) to eliminate variation and waste.
• Perform process and data analyses to identify root causes, risks, and execute corrective/preventive actions with cross‑functional partners.
• Develop and execute a cost transformation plan, track benefits with standardized metrics, and report results to leadership.
• Build and sustain a culture of Logistics Excellence by coaching, mentoring, and developing Lean Six Sigma bench strength across L&D.
• Lead the Logistics Excellence assessment program for Dexcom and vendor‑managed logistics locations.
• Act as project manager to deliver objectives on time, within budget, and in compliance with QMS, regulatory, and corporate policy requirements.

• Deep experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, and/or Operations with a proven record of sustainable improvements.
• Proactive problem‑solver, excellent communicator, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills; effective across functional teams with minimal supervision.
• Expert knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and the ability to teach and influence at all organizational levels.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (or willingness to pursue within 6 months).
• High school diploma or equivalent;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred, 8‑12 years of related experience. Master’s degree considered beneficial with 4 years of related experience.
