Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an

** to join our dynamic team in  
** Mesa, Arizona** .

** Position Responsibilities**   **- Entry Level 1**  **:*
* + Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply

+ Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements

+ Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities

** Position Responsibilities**   **- Associate Level 2**  **:*
* + Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply

+ Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements

+ Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements

+ Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

** Summary of Responsibilities*

** Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies*
* +  
** Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions*
* +  
** Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements*
* +  
** Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management*
* +  
** Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance*
* +  
** Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies*
* +  
** Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.*
* ** This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.*
* ** Shift:*
* This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements.  
** To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.*
* ** Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):*
* + More than 1 year of experience in negotiating contracts or managing suppliers

+ More than 1 year of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.

** Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):*
* + Bachelor's degree or higher

+ More than 1 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.

+ More than 1 year of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations.

+ More than 1 year of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.

+ More than 1 year of experience with various contract types for example:
Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc.

** Related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

** Associate Level 2:
** More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

** Typical Education/

Experience:

** Typically related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

** Associate Level 2** :
Typically 3 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
