Experienced Procurement Agent – Mesa, Arizona
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) invites applications for the Experienced Procurement Agent position in Mesa, Arizona. This hybrid role may include onsite work at one of the listed locations and is scheduled for 1st shift.
Position OverviewProvides oversight and management of supply and demand, supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance. Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms, prepares and executes negotiation strategies, interprets contract terms, consults with external customers, and guides supplier performance teams to develop strategic solutions across programs and commodities. Participates in supply chain process improvement teams to identify opportunities for integration into supplier contract strategies.
BasicQualifications
- More than 5 years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- More than 5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
- More than 5 years of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations.
- More than 5 years of experience drafting, negotiating, and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.
- More than 5 years of experience leading proposals, contract terms and conditions development, and negotiation efforts.
- More than 5 years of experience with proposal management or contract exposure with the US Department of Defense.
- Experience with various contract types such as Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts.
- Experience creating, interpreting, and enforcing technical requirements.
- Experience working on government proposals, including Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliant proposals.
Typically 10 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree preferred.
