Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level or Associate Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Mesa, Arizona
.

• Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
• Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
• Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities

• Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
• Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements
• Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
• Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

• Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
• Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions
• Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
• Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management
• Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
• Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies
• Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 and 120.62 includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, U.S. National, etc.

• More than 1 year of experience in negotiating contracts or managing suppliers
• More than 1 year of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• More than 1 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
• More than 1 year of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations
• More than 1 year of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts
• More than 1 year of experience with various contract types for example:
  Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc.
• Entry Level 1:
  Related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Associate Level 2:
  More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Entry Level 1: Typically related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
• Associate Level 2: Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
