Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Mesa, Arizona
.

• Provides oversight and management of supply & demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
• Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions.
• Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements.
• Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions.
• Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues.
• Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.
• Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.

This position is hybrid, requiring onsite work at one of the listed location options, and is for the 1st shift. It may require up to 25% travel and must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements for a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15.

Basic Qualifications:

• More than 5 years of experience in supplier management / procurement as a purchasing agent or buyer.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• More than 5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
• More than 5 years of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations.
• More than 5 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.
• More than 5 years of experience leading proposals, contract terms and conditions development, and negotiation efforts.
• More than 5 years of experience with proposal management or contract exposure with the U.S. Department of Defense.
• More than 5 years of experience with various contract types (e.g., Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus Government contracts, etc.).
• More than 5 years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements.
• More than 5 years of experience working on government proposals, including Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliant proposals.

Typically 10+ years of related work experience or relevant military experience. An advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master) is preferred, but not required.

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. The role may require up to 25% travel.

Summary pay range: $117,000 - $143,000.
