We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Data Center Facility Manager to oversee evening and night shift operations of our mission-critical data center infrastructure. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in facility management, electrical and mechanical systems, and operational excellence in high-availability environments.

This position regularly works a swing shift from roughly 3:00pm – 12:00am and serves as the primary onsite leader for night-shift team members and operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant performance during non-standard business hours. You will be the onsite Edge Core leader for everyone and everything during your shift, and responsible for all outcomes in the data center. In addition to leading swing and night-shift operations, this role serves as a critical communication bridge between day, swing, and night shifts, ensuring continuity of information, alignment on priorities, and seamless operational handoffs.

• Lead and oversee all data center operations during the swing and night shift (roughly 3:00pm – 12:00am), ensuring 24/7 uptime and optimal performance.
• Serve as the senior authority on-site during evening and overnight hours, providing leadership, escalation management, and decision-making support.
• Serve as the Shift Continuity Owner between day, swing, and night shifts, ensuring accurate, timely communication of operational status, risks, maintenance activities, incidents, and priorities across all teams.
• Manage and mentor a team of technicians and engineers across multiple shifts.
• Manage all site financials, serving as a responsible corporate steward through effective Opex and Capex budgeting forecasting, and financial control.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of critical systems including HVAC, UPS, generators, fire suppression, and electrical distribution.
• Develop and enforce operational procedures, safety protocols, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, Uptime Institute, OSHA).
• Monitor and report on facility performance metrics, energy usage, and risk assessments.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements to drive safe, high-quality execution of contracted scopes of work.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis for facility-related events.

• Collaborate with IT, Security, and Construction teams to support infrastructure upgrades and capacity planning.
• Lead utilization of the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track, document and report work as prescribed and ensure the accuracy of the data in the system.
• Ensure thorough management of assets, spare parts and critical tools through provided systems such as CMMS.
• Coordinate with the Client and the Technical Account Management team to support Client IT deployments and decommissioning with power and cooling tasks.
