Accounting Manager

The Keller Group is proud to exclusively represent a growing organization seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations. This is a high-impact leadership role supporting executive management while overseeing core accounting functions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment focused on operational excellence and scalable financial processes.

The Accounting Manager will lead a small team and be responsible for maintaining strong financial controls, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and driving continuous improvement across accounting processes. This role oversees Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Payroll, and General Accounting functions.

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Prepare consolidated financial statements
• Oversee payroll compliance
• Manage external audit coordination and compliance reporting
• Prepare regular cash flow updates and oversee banking activity
• Partner with FP&A on budgeting and forecasting processes
• Analyze financial results and provide insight into variances
• Oversee billing, collections, cash application, and aging management
• Monitor working capital metrics and implement cash flow improvements
• Supervise vendor management and payment controls
• Strengthen internal controls and streamline accounting workflows
• Support ERP optimization and system enhancements
• Develop and mentor accounting staff

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior leadership experience preferred
• Experience in private equity–backed, manufacturing, or distribution environments preferred
• Net Suite experience and ERP system optimization experience preferred
• Strong GAAP knowledge and analytical skills
• Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to manage multiple priorities
