Essential Turbines (ETI) is seeking a hands‑on Plant Controller responsible for site‑level financial performance across a growing, multi‑site aerospace services platform. This build‑and‑scale role owns cost accounting, margin integrity, inventory governance, and labor efficiency analytics while strengthening WIP accuracy and site reporting within SAGE. The Plant Controller serves as the financial leader for site‑level operations within a private equity‑backed aerospace Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) platform operating across multiple sites and countries. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller (with a dotted‑line relationship to the Plant General Manager), this role owns cost accounting integrity, WIP accuracy, margin performance, labor analytics, inventory governance, and site‑level financial reporting.

This is a unique opportunity to be involved in a business that is growing and scaling into a new facility to support organic business growth. This role will be multi‑faceted and entrepreneurial. Expect to be wearing multiple hats in a start‑up environment.

This is an operationally embedded leadership role. The Plant Controller partners closely with operations, supply chain, engineering, and plant management to ensure financial transparency, cost discipline, and alignment with enterprise EBITDA, working capital, and growth objectives. The position plays a critical role in protecting margin integrity and supporting scalable growth in a dynamic, PE‑backed environment.

• Own plant‑level financial reporting within ERP, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with corporate standards
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes at the site level
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure proper accounting for AP accruals, prepaids, and expense recognition timing
• Partner with Corporate Controller to ensure compliance with GAAP, audit and corporate accounting policies
