Senior Director Operations (Global Lean & Continuous Improvement)
We are recruiting on behalf of a pioneering global leader in consumer health technology and biosensing experiences. With a legacy of revolutionising chronic health management, they are scaling their enterprise-wide continuous improvement strategy to empower human health on a global scale.
As the Senior Director of Operations, you will serve as both a visionary strategist and hands-on global practitioner, embedding a culture of operational excellence, daily problem-solving, and frontline empowerment across global Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Scale Strategy:
Design and deploy the global Kaizen and CI strategy across manufacturing and quality organisations. - Embed Systems:
Drive Daily Management Systems (DMS), leader standard work, and structured A3/Root Cause problem-solving. - Champion Gemba:
Actively lead high-impact Kaizen events on the shop floor to improve quality, delivery, and cost. - Ensure Compliance:
Align all CI initiatives with strict medical regulatory standards (FDA QSR, ISO 13485) and maintain audit readiness. - Mentor Talent:
Cultivate a global network of Lean/CI practitioners and change agents.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience:
15+ years of industry experience, including 9+ years in a successful management/leadership capacity. - Sector Expertise:
Proven track record driving enterprise-level Kaizen transformations in highly regulated environments (Medical Device, Pharma, or Biotech strongly preferred). - Lean Mastery:
Deep expertise in TPS, A3, VSM, 5 Whys, and a Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt (preferred). - Executive Presence:
Exceptional ability to influence senior leadership and shift organizational culture at scale. - Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, fluent English, and proximity (within 75 miles) to a local corporate site.
