The EH&S Safety Manager serves as the senior safety leader for the company s manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the environmental, health, and safety programs required to support a high-growth, high-tech production environment.
This position is highly visible across all levels of the organization and requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to influence a diverse workforce. The EH&S Safety Manager will build the foundation of a “Safety Always” culture and later scale the EH&S function as operations expand.
EHS ManagerQualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 6+ years of EH&S leadership experience in manufacturing; semiconductor, solar, chemical, or high-tech environments strongly preferred.
- Professional certification strongly preferred: CSP, CIH, CHMM, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience managing EH&S programs in a fast-paced, scaling manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ADEQ, hazardous materials regulations, and environmental permitting.
- Proven ability to lead without direct authority and influence cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex safety topics to executives and frontline employees.
