Responsibilities
- Lead operations in areas of injury prevention, task assessment, safety communications, hazardous materials storage and transportation compliance.
- Develop, implement, and manage company safety programs, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local Health, Safety & Environmental regulations.
- Conduct HSE audits and assessments of ongoing operations.
- Provide training and coaching to local Health & Safety Managers.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a medium to large warehouse in a HSE management capacity supervising 5 or more associates.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene) preferred.
- Working knowledge of current EPA and DOT regulations including HAZWOPER and Hazard Communication.
- Proficient use of MS Office Applications.
- Bilingual (Preferred).
Demonstrates expertise in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management, ensuring compliance with regulations and leading safety programs. Capable of conducting audits, providing training, and managing safety communications in a warehouse environment.
