For our client, we are seeking a Director Mission Assurance 2 to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.
This leader will guide mission assurance activities that protect program outcomes across complex aerospace efforts. The role will focus on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement to ensure products and processes meet contractual and regulatory expectations. You will partner closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to strengthen performance, support delivery commitments, and help foster an inclusive workplace culture.
Location:
Mesa, AZ - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $209,100 - $363,100 annually
Responsibilities- Define and monitor mission assurance program specifications to support successful program outcomes.
- Ensure on-time delivery of quality products that meet contractual requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes through innovative technologies and best practices.
- Maintain compliance with mission assurance programs, policies, and quality standards.
- Interpret regulatory policies to ensure compliance in operations.
- Lead efforts that foster an inclusive and engaged workplace culture.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience, or a Master's degree and 8+ years of related experience in relevant fields.
- Minimum of 5 years in leadership, management, or team lead roles.
- Active U.S. Secret Clearance or higher required.
- Background in aerospace, manufacturing, quality, engineering, or program management preferred.
- Experience in metric development for large programs and projects preferred.
