Duration
: 6‑month contract to hire (extensions possible)
Compensation
: $45/hr. – $55/hr.
Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading public safety technology/electronics manufacturer in Mesa, AZ! This individual will be supporting high volume manufacturing engineering operations while ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Create, update, and complete Work Instructions (WIs) for legacy products
- Identify and close documentation gaps that create quality, throughput, or scalability risk
- Standardize manufacturing documentation to enable repeatable, production‑ready builds
- Define, document, and maintain manufacturing processes to support stable, repeatable production
- Identify and implement process improvements to improve quality, yield, and manufacturability
- Own ongoing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) execution for legacy products, including BOM creation, updates, and corrections, Drawing updates and release coordination, New part creation and lifecycle management
- Identify, assess, and elevate risks related to documentation quality, process maturity, or PLM accuracy
- Maintain clean, accurate, and production‑ready build definitions to support manufacturing execution
- 3‑5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a high‑volume environment
- Hands‑on experience with PLM systems (Arena preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Solid Works
- Experience owning product lifecycle management – BOM, drawing updates, new parts
- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related
Compensation
: $45/hr. – 55/hr exact compensation will vary based on individual experience, education, and related skills.
