Production Associate

2nd Shift: 2pm to 10:30pm Must be open to working any day of the week

Join our team as a Production Associate where you will be responsible for transferring, stocking, loading, and unloading materials for the production lines. These materials include a variety of components such as diffusers, holders, retainers, initiators, o-rings, end caps, sleeves, canisters, filters, tubes, disks, foil seals, springs, support barrels, shorting clips, labels, and generant. You may also be required to check, correct, or perform rework of inflators and conduct quality procedures and audits, including dimensional checks.

• Transfer, stock, load, and unload materials for production lines.

• Ensure the smooth running of production operations by handling various materials.

• Experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours per day.
• Comfortable dealing with explosives.
• Tech‑savvy with proficiency in automated equipment operation.
• Physical ability to lift, push, or pull 40 lbs regularly.

• General labor experience.
• Knowledge in general production and manufacturing processes.

There are numerous growth opportunities, including advancement to lead operators, supervisory roles, or transitioning into maintenance roles as an associate equipment technician or equipment technician. Employees demonstrating mechanical aptitude can move into roles with competitive pay.

Work in a climate‑controlled manufacturing environment using automated production equipment to make airbag inflators. Note that no lighters, matches, cigarettes, chewing tobacco, vape pens, or e‑cigarettes are allowed on site and must remain in vehicles. Shifts are structured as follows: 1st shift: 6 AM – 2:30 PM, 2nd shift: 2 PM – 10:30 PM, 3rd shift: 10 PM – 6:30 AM.

The first day will always be on a Tuesday from 8 AM - 4:30 PM, with regular shifts commencing the following day. Be prepared to work 6‑7 days a week with rotating days off, providing equal opportunities for weekend breaks. Regular schedules are Monday‑Friday, but currently include weekend work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Queen Creek, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.55/hr.

Candidates need to be mechanically inclined, have knowledge and experience with hand and air powered tools and be able to read a tape measure.

MIG welding, plasma cutting and metal fabrication experience is a plus.

Willing to work overtime when needed.
