Overview

Liberty Staffing is hiring an experienced CNC Machinist for a growing manufacturing facility in Mesa, AZ. This role is for a Full-Time day shift with overtime available. Pay is $21.63 – $30.00/hour (DOE). Job Type: Temp-to-Hire. Pay Frequency:
Weekly.

Job Overview:
The CNC Machinist will set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts while maintaining quality and efficiency standards. If you have hands-on experience with CNC equipment and understand how to read blueprints and run programs, this is a solid opportunity with long-term potential.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines for drilling, milling, grinding, and other machining processes
  • Operate additional equipment including band saws, surface grinders, and honing machines
  • Develop and edit CAD/CAM programs for machining processes
  • Load raw materials and parts into machines
  • Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts
  • Support other departments as needed
Requirements

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Completed apprenticeship preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience
  • Experience with Haas and/or Mazak machines is a plus
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Basic programming knowledge and experience with CAD/CAM
  • Computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with systems such as Adobe, E2, or Global Shop is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to cross-train in other departments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, or ISO 13485 standards
