Material Handler 2

Intermediate warehousing role responsible for the physical and systematic movement of material in accordance with all safety, cGMP, and quality procedures.

• Receive, ship, support manufacturing, and inventory control activities in compliance with Safety, cGMP, and Quality SOPs.
• Unload, load, put away, and retrieve material using hand trucks, powered forklifts, or other material handling equipment.
• Obtain or maintain certification on at least one type of material handling equipment.
• Perform transactions in ERP/WMS systems, including shipping, cycle counts, material receipts, and shipments.
• Lookup material status/location in ERP/WMS systems.
• Use Outlook to communicate with internal partners.
• Conduct a 7‑point inspection on tractor trailers before unloading/loading materials.
• Inspect inbound materials for damages and verify material information such as part number, lot number, expiration date, and quantity against vendor paperwork and PO.
• Review raw material specifications for instructions prior to receiving/labeling materials.
• Prepare pick lists for materials based on requests from manufacturing and/or planning.
• Pick, stage, and transact bulk and non‑bulk materials.
• Identify opportunities to improve operations and present suggestions to supervisory staff.

• Minimum 2–4 years of related experience or educational background (High School diploma or equivalent).
• At least 2 years of experience in a material handling role.
• At least 1 year of experience in Oracle/WMS or 2+ years in other ERP/WMS systems.
• At least 1 year of experience operating electric‑powered material handling equipment.
• Basic computer data entry skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong mathematical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
