Position OverviewIntermediate warehousing position expected to complete all tasks under general supervision. The Material Handler 2 performs a variety of warehouse functions including receiving, shipping, manufacturing support and inventory control. Position is responsible for the physical and systematic movement of material in accordance with safety, cGMP and quality procedures, completing all transactions timely and compiling required documents for material movement.
Responsibilities- Complete all warehousing activities including receiving, shipping, manufacturing support and inventory control in compliance with Safety, cGMP and Quality SOP.
- Unload, load, put away, and retrieve material utilizing hand trucks, powered forklifts, or other material handling equipment.
- Obtain and/or be certified on at least one type of material handling equipment.
- Perform transactions in ERP/WMS systems for shipping, cycle counts, material receipts, shipments, etc.
- Look up material status/location in ERP/WMS systems.
- Use Outlook to send emails to internal partners.
- Complete basic data entry in Excel or other programs.
- Perform a 7‑point inspection on tractor trailers prior to unloading/loading.
- Inspect inbound materials for damages.
- Verify material information against vendor paperwork and PO (part number, lot number, expiration date, quantity).
- Review raw material specifications before receiving/labeling materials.
- Prepare pick lists for materials based on requests from manufacturing and/or planning.
- Pick, stage and transact bulk and non‑bulk materials.
- Actively look for opportunities to drive improvements in operations and present suggestions to supervisory staff.
- Ability to stand up to 8 hours/day.
- Read numbers with high accuracy.
- Read, speak and understand English.
- Excellent dependability (attendance) required.
- Follow SOPs and work quickly without process errors.
- Work inside a climate‑controlled environment.

Experience & EducationTypically requires a minimum of 2–4 years of related experience and a high school diploma/certificate or equivalent.
Salary$15.28 – $22.88.
