- Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Process Technician to work out of its
state-of-the-art facility in Mesa, AZ.
The successful candidate will support machining departments, including setup,
start up, operations and troubleshooting of conventional and CNC machines and
post-machining operations, with a high focus on daily manufacturing floor
support, while working closely with the Process Engineering Team for
documentation needed.
The key responsibilities of a Process Technician include, but are not limited
to:
Daily manufacturing floor support
Creation of programs for new products
Maintain DNC with proven, best practice programs
Providing training for Operators to run good quality parts
Support initiatives and training for corrective actions
Quality and technical support to internal and external customers
Continuous improvement and cost reduction activities
Process troubleshooting to ensure quality product is machined
Complete initial set up of jobs on varying machines

The Person
- The key skills and qualities of a Process Technician at Amphenol Aerospace
Operations:
Technical or associate degree is preferred, 6 + years in machining
Must have knowledge of programming CNC machines and some conventional
experience
Proficient with the setup and operation of conventional and CNC machines to
produce aluminum and steel parts
Familiar with technical drawings and precision measurement devices
Knowledge of MS Office programs
Possible travel domestic or overseas
Must be able to multitask, work with minimal supervision and lead teams;
participate in projects for all aspects of the connector business
Confidentiality
Excellent oral and written skills
Computer usage from 1 to 8 hours a day
Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time
Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
