Operations Manager, Production Manager
Where you come in:
- You will report to the Production Control Manager.
- You will lead and develop a team of planners, providing direction, coaching, and performance management.
- You will maintain a strong pulse on the manufacturing operation and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
- You will own the build plan, production scheduling strategy, and execution across the value stream.
- You will drive cross‑functional alignment with Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Planning, and Engineering to ensure operational success.
- You will oversee material planning, consumption strategies, and provide guidance to procurement on supply requirements.
- You will lead tiered planning and execution meetings across multiple levels of the organization, ensuring clear communication and decision‑making.
- You will establish, monitor, and improve planning processes, systems, and standard work.
- You leverage MPS (Master Production Scheduling) to develop and oversee executable, optimized production plans.
- You ensure production work orders are scheduled effectively to meet daily and long‑term operational goals.
- You balance component availability, capacity constraints, and demand variability to maintain flow and service levels.
- You collaborate with site leadership to align schedules with business priorities and operational realities.
- You are accountable for schedule adherence, manufacturing execution, and delivery performance.
- You drive inventory health through optimization of safety stock, WIP, and finished goods levels.
- You ensure planning horizons and assumptions are accurate, realistic, and aligned with business needs.
- You establish and track key planning metrics (capacity, attainment, schedule adherence, inventory turns) and communicate performance clearly.
- You deliver insights through reporting and analytics to enable data‑driven decision‑making.
- You communicate complex planning scenarios clearly and concisely through presentations, dashboards, and written communication.

Education Requirements:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 6–8 years of industry experience.
- Formal Management/Team Lead experience.
