Metrology Technician
Location: Mesa, AZ
Pay Rate: $40/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top‑tier client.

- Hands‑on assembly of tooling and precision fixtures
- Handle and position large structures using forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, cranes, or hoists
- Install and accurately locate concrete mounting points in floors and position structures within ±0.005” tolerance
- Operate and utilize laser trackers and other precision positioning systems
- Perform inspection and measurement using CAD or 3D software, such as:
- PC Demus
- Verisurf
- Geomagic
- Polyworks
- Spatial Analyzer
- Similar metrology software
- Lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 lbs
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality and accuracy of assemblies
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience setting up large‑scale precision fixtures or tooling
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
- Proficient with CAD and/or 3D inspection software packages and standard Microsoft Office tools
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely operate material handling equipment
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
- 3+ years’ experience with large aircraft assembly and inspection
- Metal shop skills such as welding, grinding, or machining
- Prior experience in aerospace or defense environments
Must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) to comply with ITAR regulations.
