Job SummarySeeking a Production Worker to work cooperatively with the Production Lead in a pre‑cast concrete environment. The employee will produce finished pieces by performing all steps required, support shop maintenance duties, and assist in meeting the weekly production schedule.
Job Responsibilities- Perform mold prep and demolding.
- Mix and batch setup of materials.
- Apply texture coat to molds.
- Operate sprayers, pump equipment and fill molds.
- Sand and finish slurry of demolded parts.
- Apply sealer to finished pieces.
- Transport molds and parts safely through each process stage into finished goods inventory.
- Clean and maintain shop, tools, and equipment.
- Manage and maintain the cast stone shop and production activities in the absence of the Cast Stone Production Lead.
- Cross‑train in sample fulfillment under the direction of the Sample Fulfillment Coordinator.
- Capable of learning the science of concrete and the processes for casting, curing, and achieving optimal quality and performance.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Skilled with power tools (air powered and electrical).
- Excellent mechanical aptitude.
- Strong multi‑tasking and organizational skills.
- Reliable and dependable.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Self‑motivated, responsible, and reliable.
- Exhibits strong initiative.
- Team worker.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arm; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel or crouch.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects and equipment up to 125 lb.
