Manufacturing Technician

Summary

Manufacturing Technician provides and supports manufacturing equipment, materials and processes to production to ensure products are assembled efficiently, meeting customer quality, expectations and on‑time delivery specifications.

• Creates and maintains machine programs and profiles for new and existing products
• Aids in maintaining product routings, drawing packets, and interpreting instructions/specifications for manufacturing operators
• Troubleshoots operator problems successfully, works with leadership on training and process improvements
• Communicates problems to Engineers and/or leaders
• Assists in the testing and qualification for new equipment, materials, and processes
• Assists in performing experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis
• Recommends additional equipment needs to leadership and/or Test Engineers for the product debug areas
• Participates in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities
• Complies and follows all company security policies and procedures
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Works on problems of limited scope, following standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained
• Builds stable working relationships internally and applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues

• 0‑3+ years of electronics experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Effective multitasking skills and ability to take on additional responsibilities as required

• Demonstrates high attention to detail

• Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism

• Understanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools

• Working knowledge of productivity tools, including Microsoft Office products and Web Ex conferencing software
• 2‑year Engineering or Technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management
• Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required
