2nd Shift Assembler
Perform complex mechanical assembly of components and subassemblies on a production line. Focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Interpret technical documentation, troubleshoot issues, and support automated equipment. Provide guidance and mentoring to junior assemblers. Work in a fast-paced, modern, climate-controlled manufacturing environment on second shift.
Perform advanced mechanical assembly of components and subassemblies. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings, and specifications. Troubleshoot and diagnose assembly and product issues. Train, coach, and mentor junior assemblers on processes, safety, and quality. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to resolve production issues.
Conduct final quality inspections and functional tests. Maintain proper inventory levels of parts and materials. Assist with setup, calibration, and operation of automated/semi-automated equipment. Follow lean manufacturing principles and contribute improvement ideas. Safely use hand tools and power tools with high accuracy. Support production deadlines, including overtime when required.
2–5 years of assembly or manufacturing experience. Experience working on production/assembly lines. Strong mechanical assembly skills (small and large components). Ability to read and interpret complex technical documents. Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience training or mentoring team members. Knowledge of quality control and manufacturing standards. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Capable of stooping, kneeling, crouching, or climbing ladders. Strong manual dexterity and coordination for precision tasks. Ability to use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Second Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM. Shift differential included. Initial training conducted on first shift. Mandatory Friday work may be required to meet production goals.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
