Location:

Mesa, AZ

Shift:

  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (5% Shift Differential)

Hourly Pay Range and Other Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $17.00 and $26.00 per hour, depending on experience, certifications, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

We are seeking Cable Assemblers and Cable Assembly Team Leads to support our client, Amphenol Aerospace Operations, a leading manufacturer serving the aerospace and defense industries. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling wire harnesses and cable assemblies to precise quality standards while supporting critical aerospace manufacturing operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, schematics, job travelers, and work instructions to accurately assemble cable and wire harness products.
  • Perform wire stripping, crimping, soldering, connector installation, cable lacing, tie wrapping, labeling, and harness testing.
  • Conduct in-process inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications and internal quality standards.
  • Maintain compliance with AS9100 quality standards, company procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Troubleshoot assembly issues and identify defects prior to final inspection.
  • Accurately complete production documentation and manufacturing records.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet production schedules and customer expectations.
Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of wire harness or cable assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience with cable assembly processes including strip and crimp, soldering, printing labels, cable lacing, tie wrapping, connectorizing, RTV application, and wire harness testing.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and assembly drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.



Required:

IPC/WHMA-A-620 Modules 1-8 certification.

Preferred:

• J-STD-001 Certification.

• Previous aerospace, defense, or highly regulated manufacturing experience.

• Knowledge of AS9100 quality systems and standards.
