Job Summary
Team with technical professionals to solve problems and support the production of quality product at a new, state‑of‑the‑art facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Read, interpret, and follow blueprints and job instructions to accurately package electrical components including connectors.
- Have an excellent understanding of GD&T.
- Perform in‑process checks to ensure products meet internal and customer quality standards.
- Adhere to sound manufacturing processes and safety standards.
- Assist Production Supervisors with all aspects of KPI requirements (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost).
- Drive Lean and 5S culture across responsible areas.
- Maintain accurate counts and records of daily transactions of materials, Works‑In‑Progress, and finished goods through assigned areas, whether manually or electronically.
- Experience with robots, automation, machinery, or other potentially dangerous/harmful equipment is a plus.
- Other duties as needed.
- Operate automated contact machines daily, ensuring production schedules are met.
- Identify issues from machine errors and test results; basic troubleshooting skills required.
- Keep management and supervisors aware of supply shortages to ensure operational capability.
- Facilitate the preparation of Works‑In‑Progress and finished goods for shipment with urgency in respect to delivery dates and shipping timelines.
- Capable of identifying parts and materials from specifications, drawings, or instructions.
- Work with peers and management to facilitate and ensure timely processing of parts and materials.
- Use all tools, gauges, precise measuring equipment, weighing equipment, and automated equipment necessary to complete tasks.
- Strong communication, core value commitment, and excellent attendance.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Motivated self‑starter, possesses ability to work under general supervision.
- Candidate must be able to legally work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
- Position requires candidate to be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20).
