Job Summary
We are seeking a Foreman‑Pre‑Cast who will work cooperatively with the Plant Manager in a pre‑cast concrete environment. The Foreman Pre‑Cast, under the instruction of the Plant Manager, will supervise production of finished pieces through training and instruction to others and perform all necessary tasks required to produce finished pieces. In addition, there will be shop maintenance duties and other miscellaneous tasks as required to support the completion of the weekly production schedule and support new product development.
This position carries forward the requirements of the Pre‑Cast Associate with added responsibility to ensure production schedules and goals are met while maintaining quality, safety, and cost controls.
- Leadership/Supervision of 5 Pre‑Cast Associates
- Perform mold prep and demolding repair if needed
- Mixing and batch set up of materials
- Apply texture coat to molds
- Operate sprayers, pump equipment, and fill molds
- Sanding and slurry/finishing of demolded parts
- Apply sealer to finished pieces
- Maintain safe working environment
- Clean and maintain shop, tools, and equipment
- Manage and maintain materials to keep daily production moving
- Perform quarterly and monthly inventory
- Understanding of GFRC machinery & equipment or shop tools cross‑functional to GFRC production, eg. air‑driven tools and fittings, power drills, sanding apparatus
- Capable of learning the science of concrete and the processes for casting, curing, and achieving optimal quality and performance
- High school diploma or GED
- $23 - $25 per hour
