About the Role

We are looking for experienced Process Engineers to join our engineering team supporting commercial manufacturing. In this role, you will work in a dynamic, cross‑functional environment to sustain and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and product quality. Process Engineers play a critical role in ensuring stable, efficient, and scalable manufacturing operations. This includes hands‑on troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and leading technical projects that deliver measurable business impact.

This role will be located at one of our facilities in Phoenix, Arizona with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

Process Engineers are expected to take ownership of manufacturing performance, which may occasionally require flexibility outside of standard working hours to support a 7‑day operation.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes meet performance targets by improving efficiency, reducing cost, and minimizing manufacturing loss by applying Lean manufacturing principles, good manufacturing practices (GMP), and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and variation.
  • Lead engineering projects from concept through implementation, developing a WBS and timeline, tracking progress, communicating status to stakeholders, and resolving obstacles.
  • Design, build, and/or provide technical input on fixtures, equipment, and tools to improve safety, ergonomics, quality, and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing and assembly issues or non‑conformances by analyzing data, identifying root causes, and implementing effective, timely solutions.
  • Conduct equipment and process validations, qualifications, and verifications in support of production and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to drive solutions and sustain performance.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and respectful team environment.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Manufacturing preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years experience supporting a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge and application of engineering fundamentals and statistical tools for process development, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify critical issues, perform root cause analysis, and apply risk‑based decision making.
  • Technical communication skills, including documenting and presenting technical work.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently, delivering results against timelines and commitments.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, including influencing across functions.
  • Ability to work in a hands‑on manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace, or similar).
  • Applied experience using Lean, Six Sigma or other similar methodologies for process improvement.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and hands‑on ability troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing manufacturing equipment.
