Job SummaryUnder general supervision from the Lead, perform a variety of duties involving aircraft parts, raw materials, shop supply receiving, issuing, handling, and accounting for inventory stock. May also be responsible for a variety of duties in material handling, pulling parts from production runs, or pull sheets generated by inventory system.
Responsibilities- Pull aircraft parts and deliver to shop floor for active jobs and upcoming work requirements in production flow.
- Build kits.
- Inventory cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Rectify inventory variances.
- Confirm that delivered goods match purchase orders specifications of quantity, condition, part number and serial number.
- Conduct daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and weekly audit quota.
- Organize and maintain inventory locations for efficient material storage and handling.
- Efficiently pick customer and Facilities orders, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is delivered.
- Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level Work Keys certification.
- 0-6 months inventory experience required.
- Mathematical aptitude
- Ability to problem-solve and research discrepancies and transactions
- Ability to identify issues and implement solutions with direction
- Strong oral and written communication skills
