- - Responsibilities:
Clean and inspect mill stands and guides that are returned to the shop from the mill floor;
Conduct thorough inspections of all associated equipment using drawings and standards to identify needed repairs;
Order parts and maintain minimum spare-parts inventory levels;
Operate robots in order to replace mill stand rolls in mill stands with the next set of rolls that will be needed for production;
Prepare guides for use on upcoming product rollings
