Manufacturing Specialist

Production Operator

Shift 1 – 5:00AM-1:30PM

Shift 2 – 1:30PM-10:00PM

The operator will monitor the machine and product flow to make sure the machine is packaging correctly. They will load the large roll of film so the machine makes the bag and seals it. They will also feed the machine with product so it can continuously fill the bags. They check on the machine to make sure the bags are sealed, cut and filled properly throughout the process.

They will clean and sterilize the machine and test sealed bags for quality control. Will be required to trouble shoot issues with the machine and make minor adjustments and repairs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Must be flexible with the schedule times and dates
• Must be able to perform considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
• Will be carrying product while climbing stairs - balance is key
• Must be able to work with machines, walk on elevated surfaces and feel comfortable with automatic equipment.
