Pay Rate is $18.91/hr M-F 8am to 5pm

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will prepare precision-cut aluminum profiles and execute key machining operations for custom customer orders.

• Saw Operation:
  Operate semi-automatic saws to cut aluminum profiles into precise sections according to custom order specifications.

• Machining & Fabrication:
  Perform essential machining tasks, including drilling, tapping, boring, and countersinking.

• Blueprint Reading:
  Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and cut sheets utilizing the metric system (dimensions in millimeters, product info, and quantities).

• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate physical and digital records for all job orders.

• Workspace Maintenance:
  Keep work areas clean, organized, safe, and tidy.

• General Duties:
  Collaborate with team members and perform other related production tasks as assigned.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in metalwork and assembly preferred.

  • Prior experience working with modular aluminum profile building systems or tube/joint framing systems is a strong plus.

• Technical
  
  Skills:

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

  • Working knowledge of the metric system preferred.

• Key Attributes:
  Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
