Kitter/Material Handler
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Kitter to join our team. As a Kitter, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials within our facility, specifically focusing on providing support near CNC machines. Your role will be crucial in maintaining our production schedules and ensuring the seamless operation of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Transport raw materials, parts, and finished products throughout the facility to designated areas.
- Supply production lines, particularly near CNC machines, with necessary materials to meet manufacturing schedules.
- Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records through cycle counts and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Properly label and store materials in assigned locations to optimize space and ensure easy accessibility.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Participate in efforts to improve material handling processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste.
Essential Skills
- Experience working with heavy sheet metal near CNC machines.
- Must be able to stand for 10-12 hours a day and lift up to 35lbs.
- Forklift experience required with willingness to get recertified.
- 1-2 years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or HVAC-related industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in an HVAC or manufacturing environment or heavy sheet metal.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (EPICOR is a plus).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems or manufacturing processes is a plus.

Work Environment
Our facility is air-conditioned with modern equipment and electric charging stations. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 5am to 3:30pm or Monday to Thursday 3pm to 1:30am. The role requires physical activity such as lifting up to 35 pounds and standing for extended periods. Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required, and good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination are essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
