Responsibilities
  • Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering diagnostics, and creating tailored care strategies
  • Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently (according to your credentialing)
  • Providing education to patients and families about prevention, wellness, and managing health issues
  • Prescribing medications and treatments as per your qualifications
  • Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care
  • Working with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, integrated care
  • Maintaining detailed and precise records in electronic medical systems (EMR)
Qualifications
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Certification Requirements
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Arizona
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
