RN - OR Inpatient

• Work varied schedule with holidays, call, and float assignments per department guidelines
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for patients
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on assessment data and patient needs
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Document all care activities in patient records in accordance with policy requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in patient and family education and teaching
• Maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the work area
• Current valid RN license required in state of practice or compact licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in acute care setting within the past 12 months as Registered Nurse in specialty area required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to patient care needs
• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids
