Provide intraoperative RN oversight for OR procedures including patient safety measures.
Ensure adherence to sterile technique and infection prevention protocols.
Monitor patient vitals and respond to intraoperative changes promptly.
Coordinate staffing and room turnover to optimize OR efficiency and throughput.
Assist surgeons with instruments, implants, and anesthesia‑related tasks as required.
Document perioperative care, findings, and any adverse events accurately.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to meet daily surgical targets and KPIs.
Maintain inventory control of surgical supplies and equipment.
Support post‑anesthesia recovery and hand‑off with clear patient status updates.
Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to pipeline‑based planning.
Participate in on‑site training and professional development activities.
Experience/QualificationsValid RN license with current OR/Surgical nursing certification.
Minimum 2–5 years OR nursing experience in inpatient setting.
Proficiency in sterile technique and infection prevention protocols.
Accurate perioperative documentation of care, findings, and adverse events.
Strong intraoperative vitals monitoring and immediate response skills.
Ability to coordinate staffing, room turnover, and OR throughput.
Experience assisting surgeons with instruments, implants, and anesthesia tasks.
Ability to support post‑anesthesia hand‑off with clear patient status updates.
Familiarity with KPI‑driven performance and pipeline planning.
Inventory control and purchasing of surgical supplies/equipment.
