Banner - University Medicine Obesity and Bariatric Surgery Center is actively seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider for a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact on patients' lives! Join Banner Health's nationally recognized Bariatric Surgery team at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix, a triple-accredited Center of Excellence in Adult Bariatric Surgery, Adolescent Bariatric Surgery (ages 14-18), and Obesity Medicine.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team that includes bariatric surgeons, obesity medicine specialists, dietitians, behavioral health professionals, and specialized support staff
- Provide care across the full continuum from pre-operative evaluation through lifelong post-surgical support
- Serve diverse patient populations, including adolescents and adults with complex medical needs
- Practice in a supportive, collaborative environment committed to education, innovation, and excellence in patient outcomes
- Be part of a program accredited by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) for meeting the highest standards in safety, quality, and patient care
- 5+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Current board certification as an NP or PA
- Clinical background in Obesity Medicine, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, or Endocrinology preferred; however, highly qualified candidates from other specialties are strongly encouraged to apply
- Willingness to complete fingerprinting as required for working with adolescent patients
- Full-time | Choose between 5/8 or 4/10 schedules, with opportunities for telehealth work
- Clinic:
Ambulatory clinic - Administrative Time: 0.5 days per week
