As a Transport RN, you will play a vital role in the assessments and plans of your patients at Banner Desert Medical Center. Banner Desert Medical Center offers state-of-the-art technology in all departments, from our da Vinci surgical robots to our 3D cancer technology. This position is part of Clinical Care Operations, which is the hub of patient management for the campus, including bed assignment, unit staffing, house supervision, emergency preparedness (code events and internal disasters), and patient transports.

In your role as a Registered Nurse with Transport, you will transport cardiac monitored patients throughout the campus and assume their level of care. This will include taking patients to different procedures and appointments, such as Medical Imaging, and taking patients from the Emergency Dept to their rooms in the facility. This is a very active role - Transport RN's walk an average of 15K steps per day!

Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of PCU experience or ICU experience.

Schedule:

3x12-hour Day Shifts with start times from 7:00am-9:00am; every other weekend and holiday rotation required. Enjoy a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential when applicable.
