As a Medical Intensive Care Registered Nurse
, you will have the opportunity to care for patients with a wide variety of conditions. You will have the ability to learn advanced skills that include: EVD therapy, Advanced Stroke Care, Roto‑Prone therapy and Continuous Renal Replacement therapy, among many others. Our dedicated Registered Nurses are actively involved in department shared leadership and facility wide committees. Our Registered Nurses also have the opportunity to participate and receive support for completion of the Critical Care certification.

This is a full‑time position working three 12‑hour day shifts per week from 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM including rotating weekends and holidays. You will also have the opportunity to utilize our self‑scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. Enjoy an 18%-night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential when applicable.

This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
COREFUNCTIONS
Plan care in collaboration with members of the multidisciplinary team. Review and revise the plan of care to reflect changing patient needs based on evaluation of the patient’s status.
