Banner Staffing Services (BSS) offers Registry/Per Diem opportunities within Banner Health. Registry/Per Diem positions are utilized as needed within our facilities. These positions are a great way to start your career with Banner Health. As a BSS team member, you are eligible to apply (at any time) as an internal applicant to any regular opportunities within Banner Health. When working per Diem you must work at least 2 shifts a month.

Registry/Per Diem positions do not have guaranteed hours and no medical benefits package is offered. Completion of post-offer Occupational Health physical assessment, drug screen and background check (includes; employment, criminal and education) is required.

As a Home Health Registered Nurse, you will join the Banner Home Health Clinical Team providing exceptional, expert care in your community. You will enjoy an autonomous practice focusing on medical intervention within the patient’s actual home environment. The Home Health space allows for the time to create one on one relationships with your patients and their caregivers and have some flexibility over your schedule that is not possible in the hospital setting.

You will enjoy working in a sub-assigned geographic territory with a smaller travel distance than other valley agencies! You will enjoy an autonomous but supportive work environment. We offer mileage reimbursement and will provide you a company cell phone and a tablet for documentation in our electronic medical record system (Home Care Home Base).

• Training: 30-60 day, Working at minimum 1 day per week (Days can vary from week to week depending on class schedule.), Monday
  - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
• After Training: PRN Position, Call Outs/ PTO/ Leave, Monday
  - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, Minimum of 2 shifts per month

• West Valley- POD 7 Primary cities:
  Tolleson, Laveen, South West Phoenix, Avondale, Goodyear, Buckeye
• West Valley- POD 11 Primary cities:
  South Peoria, South Glendale

This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.

• Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs. Reviews patient history and physical with patient/family and assures completion within appropriate timeframe. Reviews available information obtained by other health care team members. Reviews diagnostics and laboratory data and reports abnormal results to the physician(s) and other appropriate caregivers. Completes assessment and reassessments according to patient need and as outlined in policy.
