Clinical Nurse Urgent Care EAST VALLEY

Position Summary

The East Valley Urgent Care is hiring a clinical nurse who can work 12 hours a week! You will be scheduled to work 2, 6 hour shifts during the week ( 5 PM - 11 PM), and every third weekend (Sat/Sun, 10
- 5)! We are looking for someone who is experienced in triage, and prefer pediatrics - but will consider adult care. Hurry - these positions are filled quickly!! NO NEW GRADS, please!

This position, in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family, coordinates and promotes patient health utilizing evidence-based practice in the delivery of professional nursing care across the care continuum. This position advocates for the patient and family adhering to nursing and medical plans of care, regulatory standards, and organizational values.

• Two year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree. (Required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program. (Preferred)

• Pediatric experience. (Preferred)

• Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date. (Required)
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association. (Required)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification may be required within 90 days of entry into the position for select departments. (Preferred)
