As a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit RN, you will have the opportunity to care for patients with coronary artery bypass grafting, valve replacements, valve repairs, arch repairs, thoracotomies, decortications, abdominal aortic aneurysm repairs, carotid endarterectomies, and vascular bypass within our 7 bed unit. You will have the ability to learn advanced skills that include: initial and intermediate continuous renal replacement therapy, intra-aortic balloon pump device therapy, Impella device support therapy, and removal of arterial sheaths.
Our dedicated CVICU Registered Nurses are actively involved in department shared leadership and facility wide committees, also having the opportunity to participate in the Clinical Expert program and receive support for completion of the Critical Care certification. We currently have full-time day (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) and night (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) shifts available working three 12-hour shifts per week. You will also have the opportunity utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. Enjoy an 18% night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential.
* Day Shift: $15,000 sign-on bonus for RNs with 1+ years of CVICU experience; 2-year commitment required
* Night Shift: $20,000 sign-on bonus for RNs with 1+ years of CVICU experience; 2-year commitment required
