** RN Resource Team ICU Float
** you will be part of a team providing exceptional patient care at Banner Baywood Medical Center and Banner Heart Hospital. This position is part of Clinical Care Operations, which is the hub of patient management for the campus, including bed assignment, unit staffing, house supervision, emergency preparedness (code events and internal disasters), patient transports, dispatch, and data analysis. Several employee groups report to this department, including clinical positions such as RN House Senior Managers, SWAT RNs, and Resource Team (RNs, NAs, PCAs, HUCs, and BHTs) plus non-clinical roles such as Office Supervisor, Transport Supervisor, Dispatchers, Placement Reps, and Information  your role as a
** Registered Nurse with the Resource Team lCU Float**, you will work on the ICU unit at Banner Baywood Medical Center and the CVICU at Banner Heart Hospital. You may also float to the Med/Surg, PCU, and Obs units at Banner Baywood, depending on staffing needs. Full-time Days; 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00AM-7:30PM with weekend rotations.
** Enjoy an 18%-night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential when applicable. As an added bonus, Float Pool RN's also enjoy an additional $3/hr float incentive on top of base pay.

POSITION SUMMARY  This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
CORE FUNCTIONS  
1. Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs. Reviews patient history and physical with patient/family and assures completion within appropriate timeframe. Reviews available information obtained by other health care team members. Reviews diagnostics and laboratory data and reports abnormal results to the physician(s) and other appropriate caregivers. Completes assessment and reassessments according to patient need and as outlined in policy.
2. Formulates a plan of care, including the discharge plan, utilizing assessment data and patient, family and health team input. Initiates a plan of care based on patient-specific needs, assessment data and the medical plan of care. Goals for patient are realistic, measurable and developed in conjunction with the patient/family. Considers the physical, cultural, psychosocial, spiritual, age specific and educational needs of the patient in the plan of are.
