RN Surgical And Oncology Progressive Care Unit
As a RN on our Surgical and Oncology Progressive Care unit you will care for patients with a variety of medical conditions allowing you to use and expand your nursing skills within an environment that focuses on positive work culture and exceptional patient care. Whether you are caring for a patient who is post-surgical or one who is battling a COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, pancreatitis, renal failure or hypoxia;
you will have the opportunity to drive their plan of care and maximize your nursing practice.
This is a unique assignment-based PRN position, meaning that you will be dedicated to only one specific unit at this facility. No floating to any other unit or facility. We currently have an opportunity for both Night shift, 7pm - 7:30am and Day shift (7am - 7:30pm) with a 2 shift per month minimum, specific to this unit. This position offers a generous 18% night-differential and an additional flat rate weekend differential of $3/hour when applicable.
Please note:
- You must have a minimum of 18 months of RN work experience.
- You must have a minimum of 12 months of recent work experience on a Progressive Care Unit (within the last year and a half).
- BLS and ACLS is required upon hire.
- Orientation is a full time, week-long commitment. You must be available to attend both virtual and in-person training classes during your first week.
