Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
This position offers a shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed per week.
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the emergency department. This role involves assessment, triage, and treatment of individuals in acute situations, along with coordinating care with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify medical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Coordinate care and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 24 months of ER experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
- Active state license to practice as a Registered Nurse with no hits on the license.
- Life support certifications from approved vendors: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC.
- Driver's license to verify residency.
- Travel experience is highly preferred.
