Travel Nurse Source  is working with Aptiva Corp to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in New River, Arizona, 85087!

A facility in Phoenix, AZ is seeking its next amazing RN (Registered Nurse) for 13 weeks assignment to work in Telemetry unit. Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience required.

Neuro Acute 6

NNA/B
# beds: 48 total - 10 epilepsy specialty rooms
Ratios: 1:4 days and nights.
Weekend Requirement: 3 shifts in a 4 week period. Self scheduling.
Holidays:
Work into holiday rotation.
Scrub Color:
Greys anatomy / steel.
Tele:
Mainly Med Surg but some Tele is required as well
Floating: first to float; MS/Tele, possibly Westgate or AZ General Laveen Campus
Common diagnosis / Types of patients:
Epilepsy, 24-48 Trend EEGs, Brain tumor, Subdural hematoma, scoliosis surgeries, TBI, Neuro dx.

Minimum Requirements:

Certs: BLS, ACLS required from AHA
Active RN License required
Must have minimum 2 years of recent experience.
Must have strong critical thinking and assessment skills, detect small changes in patients. Med Surg/Tele RN with strong skills will be trained to assess crani nerves.
Utilize self releasing velcro seat belts (not a restraint).
MUST HAVE LEVEL 1 TRAUMA EXP
50 mile radius rule applied.
