This unit participates in our Progress-In-Place initiative, meaning the patients cared for on our units have a variety of medical conditions, and we serve both Medical Surgical and Progressive Care acuity patients on the same unit.
We offer both Night shift hours (7PM - 7:30AM) and Day shift hours (7AM - 7:30PM) shift hours (with a 2 shift per month minimum and one weekend shift per schedule period requirement. This position offers an additional flat rate weekend differential of $3/hour and an 18% shift differential, when applicable.
Please note:
You must have a minimum of 18 months of RN work experience. You must have a minimum of 12 months of recent work experience on a Progressive Care Unit (within the last year and a half). BLS and ACLS is required upon hire. Orientation is a full time, week-long commitment. You must be available to attend both virtual and in-person training classes during your first week.
- Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary/interim RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice. Relates throughout the interview process the experience, training and education needed to perform the job. Experience in the clinical area for which he or she is applying is desired.
Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area in which they work as demonstrated through annual validations. Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting. Experience must include working in an…
