Our practice is a small animal hospital offering general medicine as well as emergency services. We are seeking a candidate who can multitask, has the desire to learn, and can work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred candidates will be organized and enthusiastic.
** Who We're Looking For:
** We are looking to hire an experienced
** Veterinary Technician
** to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves animals and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood and running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and motivating team member.

Requirements:
* ** Licensed Veterinary Technician (
***** preferred*****)
*** 1+ years of veterinary experience
* Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
* Passion for working with animals and their owners
* Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
* Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
* Obtaining accurate and thorough medical histories
* TPR* Assisting doctor and other technical staff with restraint
* Blood draws (cephalic, saphenous, and jugular)
* Placing IV catheters
* Digital radiology including positioning.
* Dentistry (scaling, polishing, anesthetic monitoring)
* Anesthesia (induction, intubation, monitoring, aseptic technique)
* Laboratory skills such as ear and fecal cytology;
Idexx laboratory equipment
* Excellent client communication/education
