Position Description
This position will be primarily based out of our Mesa I facility located at 4712 S Ellsworth Rd, Mesa, AZ 85212. Though pending business needs could slide to other AZ sites.
The Quality Coordinator is a high-visibility position within Super Radiator Coils that has a direct impact on the growth of the business. The Quality Coordinator has the responsibility to support oversight of our ISO 9001:2015, ASME VIII-1, CSA, UL and Military quality assurance programs. This position reports to the Quality Manager for their respective site.

The Quality Coordinator will continuously work to improve our quality programs by identifying new opportunities for quality improvement, developing quality work instructions, and implementing quality changes. The Quality Coordinator interacts with sales/engineering, design, purchasing and production to promote a positive culture around quality and to ensure that our product is produced to the highest quality standards.

- Manage, monitor, and maintain quality control procedures.
- Ensure that all contractors, subcontractors, and vendors maintain the necessary quality standards as specified in the project documents.
- Create and maintain quality assurance programs to ensure optimum project outcomes.
- Support Manage and oversee quality personnel, determine training needs, and development programs.
- Create and maintain performance measurement tools to track the performance of quality personnel and contractors.
- Develop and implement quality assurance plans to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Document standard operating procedures, review site documents, and conduct inspections.
- Develop metrics for quality assurance performance throughout the construction process and report findings to upper management.
- Implement and maintain LEAN practices to reduce waste and cost.
- Develop employee training programs.
- Promote safety within your organization.
- Assist in additional work assigned by manager.
- Passionate about supporting a leading best-in-class quality organization and promoting a quality culture
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering field of study or higher/ equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional work experience in quality/manufacturing/engineering
- Quality experience with military codes & specifications
- Quality experience with ASME VIII-1 and ISO 9001
- Knowledgeable about the importance of quality assurance in manufacturing
- Capable and comfortable handling multiple priorities - balancing urgent tasks with progress on important tasks
- Self-directed and motivated to support the quality needs of a changing and growing business
- Committed to continuing education and training
- Thrives in a fast-paced production environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and motivation to attend to detailed QA requirements
- Proficiency with computers and computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
- Stable and reliable attendance
- Pattern of Late Ins, Early Outs, Unexcused Call Outs, etc. is not acceptable.
- Knowledgeable about metal fabrication and made‑to‑order custom manufacturing
- Industry experience with heat exchangers or systems that require coils
- History of success in small or mid‑sized company
- Experience working in a mid‑sized company where gap‑filling is routine.
- Strong positive work ethic
- Have a good history of safe work practices, focus on quality, and steady efficiency.
- Personal errors in your specific department can happen, what is important is if you were able to learn from an error and move forward in a positive manner.
- English and Spanish are the Arizona team’s top two primary languages. Fluency, consisting of reading, writing, speaking, and listening in both is recommended. Ancillary would be full comprehension in English with base understanding in Spanish while continuing to learn and develop the communication skill set overtime.
