Your Impact
As Axon’s Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting material following Axon’s inspection plans for raw, in-process, and outgoing quality.

Quality Control Supervisor
- Conduct routine and non‑routine tests and inspections of raw, in-process, and finished goods, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
- Read and interpret technical data and specifications (2D prints/CAD) to conduct meaningful inspections and tests.
- Perform push and pull testing using Mark-10 equipment to qualify parts or gather data for engineering.
- Conduct non‑destructive and destructive testing on raw, in-process, and finished goods to qualify material or aid in root‑cause investigations.
- Use a wide range of metrology tools (calipers, dial indicators, micrometers, optical comparator, etc.).
- Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on product release.
- Maintain laboratory testing and measurement equipment.
- Monitor operational procedures in technical environments to ensure conformance to standards.
- Conduct layered process audits to ensure compliance with Axon 7S standards.
- Maintain the QC database by logging, transcribing, and recording data in written or electronic form.
- Analyze information and evaluate results to recommend the best solution and solve problems.
- Effectively join forces with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong ‘Own It’ mentality to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Basic software and computer skills.
- IPC‑A‑610 certification (preferred).
- Green Belt certification (preferred).
- Experience with ISO standards, inspection standards, and quality concepts.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Minitab, JMP; other statistical software considered.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, product specifications, procedures, and standards.
- Excellent written, oral communication, and technical report‑writing skills.
